Today is both the birthday of Abraham Lincoln and Charles Darwin. Both were born in 1809. It is interesting to find out that two revolutionary men have the same birthday.

今日はなんとリンカーンとダーウインの誕生日です。
二人とも1809年生まれ。
この歴史に名を刻んだ二人が同じ誕生日だというのも面白い偶然ですね。

They also had other things in common: they both loved Shakespeare and music. Neither could sing and they both lost their mothers when they were young and both lost still young children. Lincoln apparently was a cat lover whereas Darwin loved dogs.

誕生日以外にも、二人にはこんな共通点があるんです。

・二人とも母親を小さい時になくした
・二人とも幼い我が子が死んだ
