今朝のCNNニュースを聞いていたら、”Aya Miyama‘s beautiful free kick!”というのが聞こえたので見てみるとFIFAのWomen’s World Cupの日本対ニュージーランドの試合を決めたAya Miyamaさんのことを言っていました。

ESPNによるとFIFA Women’s World Cupは：
The FIFA Women’s World Cup is the most prestigious women’s international competition in soccer, a FIFA-sanctioned event that occurs every four years. The first competition took place in 1991 (61 years after the first men’s World Cup) and was won by the United States.
FIFA Women’s World Cupはサッカーの国際試合で最も有名なで、４年ごとに開催される。最初の大会は1991年で（男子のワールドカップの61年後）アメリカが優勝した。
